It did indeed rain today, which brings me to the question, what rained? We say “it” rained but what is “it”? Ah, too much thinking. It (whatever it is) rained cats, dogs, and shopping bags. I got blown all over Savannah but not one word of complaint did you hear from me. My hair-do by the end of the day was a hair-don’t, giving evidence that wind + rain = curly mess.
I imagine the plants in this area are going through a weather shock. They probably recoiled in uncertainty when the first drops of rain dared to wet them after so many months of dryness. One dog I saw looked like he had lost his best friend, so wet and forlorn was he.
Well, it’s time to hit the hay but gotta say
Thank you, Lord, for the rain!!!!!
Amen! We had such a rain last week!
Yes! Yes! What a wonderful rainy day yesterday was! And this morning we are still getting some. We had about forgotten what rain looked like! Praise God for every drop!
It rained on us too!!!! Who cares if we were camping, I just enjoyed hearing the pitter patter on the camper roof. I was also thankful for 2 kids instead of 4,5,6,or more :). It def was different to never go swimming when you are camping, but there will be another time. I feel for you with the hair-don’t, know exactly the feeling. And then there are those who WANT curls!!!!!
We got rain here today, too! Such a nice, soaking rain–not a pour-down that just runs off. Just perfect!
I just wanted to wish you happy and safe travel for this week. I can’t wait to see your post when you return!
Yay for you!!! So glad you finally got rain!Have a good, safe, and fun trip! Will be waiting to hear all about it.
