Last week was a birthday part week. Was at 3 including my own, but that’s a story for another time. The little man up the road turned a whopping 1 and we were invited to help celebrate.

We, not being the type to turn down invites, didn’t turn it down. Fun evening with Reggies and Joels!!

Our oldest niece, Krista, made a last minute decision to come down for Friday night and Saturday. She is in the Air Force, stationed at Ft. Gordon near Augusta.

A birthday party for Crysta was held at Stan’s Saturday night. Delicious supper. Fun evening although there was a brief altercation involving the Buckeyes vs. Dawgs.

A photo shoot of a different kind. It’s square because …. it’s for a cd cover. However, this is not the cover (obviously), just the photo that may appear on the cover. (The presence of the harmonica is significant.)

And yes, I was at the lake again.

The next two are supposed to look like paintings but I’m afraid this small they just look out of focus.

And I caught sight of familiar people out enjoying the water (Jeff, Amberly & Jeremy).

Stay tuned for the next addition. It will be something about a kidnapping, a luncheon and friends.

Good day to all!

  1. Birthday party for Crysta???  That was celebrated even later than yours!  I heard about the kidnapping but can’t wait to see it in pictures.  I heard you might have captured Jeremy wakeboarding last night.  If so, you have our permission to put it on here.  You could even “doctor” it up and I may want a copy.

  2. OMW Krista looks so much like Brenda!!! So cool that she lives close and can come visit ya’ll! And I’m terribly curious about that CD cover. The harmonica is significant??? I have a wild idea about who that might be for. Anyhow, great pics, as always. Thanks for putting them on Xanga for us to enjoy. I love the red pavillion….is it the one at Lake Grace?

  3. @ksmiller – I think you’re on the right track… an uncle of yours. 🙂 I used a different harmonica for the actual cover then since he uses one with a single row. He’s pretty excited about his “project.”
