  1. My favorite thing about fall is the looking outside and seeing the leaves falling and hearing the wind whistle through open windows! I love soupy weather so soups would have to be my favorite seasonal food!

  2. Ohhh, I’d like a print!

My favorite part of fall is cool evenings and colorful leaves.  I especially like when I’m driving and the leaves are falling on the road in front of me, then swirling around on the road behind me.

  3. My favorite thing about fall–hmmm-so many things, i like the beautiful colors on the trees, and the cooler weather and toasty hot choc. on a cool eve. and how nice that pic would go in my “old” decorated house.:):)

  4. I am loving that picture! Favorite thing about fall. Hmmmm…… shorter days, longer evenings, comfort foods like soup, hot chocolate etc. hay rides, cool weather, etc etc etc

    Pick me, Pick me!!

  5. My fall favorites are:

      The crispy, refreshing air

      Fall decorations…

Seeing the beauty of the leaves changing colors.. seeing not only God’s creativity, but also thinking of how amazing it is that the reason the leaves change and become so beautiful is because they die; a challenge i think of every year.. i need to daily die to self for God to make my life beautiful

  6. My favorite things about fall are gaining an extra hour, anything pumpkin, longer evenings when it seems much later than what it actually is and of course the cooler weather.  Love the print and hope to be a winner! (you know that way you don’t have to pay for postage )

  7. I don’t relish the coming of autumn as it means that my favorite season is ending, and summer is always too short in WI.  But the fall colors here try their best to cheer me up!  And I also start making more pancakes/waffles/French Toast, which means we get to eat more *real* maple syrup again…so yeah, there are good things about fall.

  8. you are so kind.:) my favorite part of fall would probably have to be the crisp, breezy wind which sends the leaves a’blowin. I love being able to comfortably drink hot drinks, rather than sweating through them as is normal in the hot Georiga summer. I also love the high, blue blue skies. They make the world seem like such a big place.:)

  9. The beautiful leaves and more kicked back lifestyle. Pumpkin spice candles, fresh apple cider, yummy apples, basically anything pumpkin. You already know how much I like that photo. 🙂

  10. My favorite part of fall is watching the trees change colors. The bright colors: reds, oranges, yellows, greens, and corals all mixed and viewed from a vista cannot be beat! I also like the smell of spiced cider candles and fall decor.

  11. The cooler temperatures, the vibrant colors of the landscape, the delicious aroma of pies baking and soup simmering on the stove.  What’s not to love!  Thanks for being so generous with your talent.  God bless.  ~~Ruth

  12. What is not to love about Fall? Crisp, cool weather, blue skies, colorful trees, cool weather, end of gardening, shorter evenings, lighting candles, the smell of apples, the smell of grapes/juice, cool weather, sweaters, wrapping up in a cozy blanket, sipping tea, dipping vanilla creme’s in the tea, holidays are coming!!
Please let the longest list win. 😉

  13. my absolute favorite thing about fall is the gorgeous trees… and watching my two little sons tumble in our big leaf piles!!!!  My favorite fall-ish dessert is baked apple pie bars… or anything apple!! I LOVE this picture and I think I’m gonna win!!! 🙂  Crysta

  14. There are so many things to like about the fall, but the one I will mention is the same as what I like about spring! It is the time in between using the air conditioner and turning on the heat!! And it never seems to last long enough. That’s a beautiful picture. I love your photography!!

  15. One of the things I like most about fall, its the perfect time to sit around a campfire, just chilly enough that the fire feels good but not so cold you have to bundle up.  I love that picture and the verse fits so well too.

  16. So of course I want to win the photo, and I was trying desperately to whip up a quick, witty poem(just call me Ruth..)but I soon realized that God hasn’t blessed me with that gift! And I was afraid that I’d be sorely embarrassed, which I guess would be worth the picture, but my poor self esteem was pleading with me not to!  And besides that I actually thought I shouldn’t even post because I was sure I didn’t like autumn. But after reading everyones posts I realized that I loved most of those things that people posted. I soon figured out that its what comes after fall that I dislike……and the fact that Indiana is most certainly dreary during this time of year,so if I can forget for a few seconds that fall leads into winter I think I can come up with lots of ‘favorite things about fall’.  Lets see……first off the smells of fall…….burning leaves, fresh apple candles,…the sights…um I’ve got nothing, I prefer GREEN!!! and lastly the tastes of fall.. cider, apple pie, hot cocoa(the real stuff) and peppermints!!!

  17. Fall favorites, huh?  Thats easy!  Pumpkin Cheesecake, clear skies, the smell of Apple Butter cooking. Long evenings. Sweater weather.  Full moons in a clear, crisp sky. And Pumpkin Spice Lattes….Love the picture!

  18. The leaves, the scent of the air……..what a GREAT GOD we serve! 🙂 Just chilly enough to wear sweaters but not a thick coat (don’t love winter)!  My favortite seasonal food……….ANYTHING pumpkin! Made some lucious pumpkin cream cheese muffins!

  19. The best things about fall are.. the colours of the leaves, bonfires with friends, the feeling and smell of the air, halloween parades :), and most of all – the fact that christmas is closer! 😀

  20. I love these giveaways!!(:  I love fall too, esp. since we’ve moved here!(:  The cooler temps are high on my list of favorites, along with hot drinks, long evenings, and cool morning walks.

  21. Oh Marilou~I so loooovvveeee that pic!!

Favorite thing bout fall?? I love raking leaves, then taking my childrens pictures while they’re jumping in them =), wearing sweaters again, smelling pumpkin candles burning, and eating pumpkin torte! =)

  22. Fall is my favorite time of the year, absolutely!! I love the crisp weather, mums, trees changing colors, candles, smell of wood smoke, apples of every kind, pumpkins.  It reminds me of picking up pecans, a job we despised, but one I would love to have now:)  My fall foods are anything apple or pumpkin…I think I’m going to get off of here and go for a nice, fall walk:)

  23. In the north I love the colors, in GA it has to be the gorgeous mornings, and the sun shines different, love that.  Pumpkin Whoopie Pies & Apple Crisp are two of the best things about fall.

  24. I love the geese flying in V’s, the fresh fragrance of the cool winds, cloud art, colors of red, brown, purple, orange, green rampant on the landscape, gardens drowsy, more energy. But whoever says Fall is more laid back… I ain’t seen it yet.

  25. Ahhh, finally I can go outside and breathe deep…..the air feels light to my lungs after the heavy, hot air of summer!  Also, the smells.  There is something about the smell of fall, the dying leaves, with a hint of campfire smoke mixed in, that is rejuvenating.  Food….you can’t mess up pumpkin, and now it’s time to curl up with a good book and a cozy cup of cappuccino!

  26. I enjoy the smell of falling leaves, and watching them change colors. I also enjoy the beautiful sunsets that brighten the sky with God’s splendor and His love to us.  Tyler Lacey

  27. The crisp mornings with a hint of woodsmoke in the air. The brilliant blaze of fall foilage against a backdrop of clear sky and the laughter of children playing in the newly fallen leaves. Roasting hotdogs and marshmallows over campfires and chilly hands wrapped around warm mugs of spiced cider. Piles of split wood for the fireplace and freshly baked pumpkin bread straight from the oven. Geese honking overhead and mums and straw bales set out for display!

I'd love to hear from you! Feel free to leave a comment.
