One of the things I learned to make last summer when I was eating a greatly reduced/restricted fat diet, was turkey burgers. I’m still enjoying them a year later! I keep some in the freezer both at home and a work. Paired with a sourdough bun that I make and freeze, it’s a meal better than restaurant food at my fingertips. Actually, I don’t know if anyone was shocked at what they saw in my backyard, or more specifically my patio, but I would have been if I had seen it on someone else’s patio in January.
Last week we had an Appreciation Dinner for all of the public service employees (police, fire, EMS, etc). The sponsors are invited to provide desserts.
